About Powerman

POWERMAN MALLORCA has been chosen by the Balearic Triathlon Federation (FETRIB), and for the third consecutive year, as LONG DISTANCE 2021 BALEARIC DUATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP.

Powerman is the most recognized Duathlon brand worldwide. It belongs to and is managed by the IPA, International Powerman Association, and brings together the best duathletes on the planet, both professionals and amateurs of all ages. Although the Duathlon format, Run-Bike-Run, is simpler than Triathlon, it is nevertheless a test that has more and more followers who want to prove themselves and overcome their physical limits.

Powerman has established itself as the most followed long-distance Duathlon event: 10km Run, 60km Bike and 10km Run. In addition, for athletes who are new to the duathlon, a short-distance or sprint test of 5km Run, 30km Bike and 5km Run is also offered. And for the most intrepid and prepared, Powerman offers an Ultra distance test: 10km Run, 120 Bike and 20km Run.

Since 1997, the ITU chose the Zofingen Powerman event in Switzerland as the Duathlon World Championship and from then until today, the Duathlon World Championship has been held continuously in this same city by the ITU and IPA. In this Zofingen world championship a unique race is held with distances of 10km Run, 150km Bike and 30km Run.

Powerman has also joined International Championship Powerman Middle Distance10-60-10 with:

1. the Continental Federations ET / European Championships. In 2021 this will be in Alsdorf/Germany 

2. ASTC /Asian Championships in Putrayaja / Malaysia
